I am Claire Smales and I am a qualified dance teacher and a member of the International Dance Teachers Association. 
I live locally, in Knottingley.
I teach the following subjects –
Ballet, Tap, Theatrecraft, Musical Theatre, Freestyle Disco, Streetdance, Cheerleading,  Melody Bear, Dance Exercise/Keep fit.
I teach from 18 months to adult. 
Besides running my own school, based in Ferrybridge Community Centre I also teach at –
The Vale School Knottingley – After School Disco/Streedance/Cheerleading Club – yrs 3-6.
Melody Bear - pre-school-foundation level children.
Sure Start – Henry Moore School, Castleford – Melody Bear and Dinky Dance.
Brotherton Parish Rooms – Over 55’s keep fit class.
I have also worked this summer with NHS/WMDC/PCT on the free dance lessons which have been available to children.
Previously worked with Youth Inclusion Service at Adventure Playground, Knottingley.

I choreograph routines for various shows/events –
My last show – Strictly Showtime at Airedale High School
Ledsham Fair – September each year.
School demonstrations.
I run summer school during the month of August, with performance at the end for the pupils, families to watch. 
I have many years experience of working with all age groups.  I am CRB checked, have my own insurance, PPL licence and live locally.
I am available to come into schools and teach any of the above.  My fees are not astronomical, as are some larger companies and freelance teachers.  I am willing to discuss any of the above dance/keep fit types, and work with you to whatever would suit your organisation best.
